Welcome to my service page. Below is a listing of current core offerings to help you in completing your own project. Check back regularly as I will periodically update this list.
Engine Rebuilds
These are being performed on a case-by-case basis. I do complete engine rebuilds on Arrows, Scouts, & Warriors. Builds consist of the following services:
Teardown, inspection, and cost estimate. Rebuilds start at $1,900.00.
Complete cleanup, including glass-bead blast of all cases to remove corrosion.
Replacement of all bearings. Babbitts and bushings are evaluated during the inspection.
Major engine work if needed, to include re-sleeving of cylinders, replacement of rods, and reconditioning of crank shaft.
Replacement of all hardware. I can do original hardware for those looking for points in AMCA judging.
Hardware Restoration
Need original hardware for your Arrow or Scout? Better yet, just need yours restored? Send in all of your old nuts, bolts, axles, and other hardware for cleaning and re-plating with "clear," "no-brighteners," nickel-cadmium (a.k.a. "clear-cad"). The oringal "MS" and "NE" bolt head markings on your show bike will increase its points value in AMCA judging.
Wheel Lacing
I am currently offering wheel lacing service. I can do original 1949 spoke patterns, or improved 1951 spoke patterns. At present, I require a good reconditioned wheel rim and hub to work on, and can either take your spokes or supply spokes and nipples to do the work.
